Including Deadpool this coming week, Meta has released 3 big-budget ground-up VR games since 2023. Sony and Valve have both released zero. Gamer logic though: "Whoever has the worst passthrough is more dedicated to VR gaming."

Sometimes I use Whatsapp on Quest to trim a short region from a longer video. For privacy reasons, WhatsApp is invisible in the on-headset recordings. Through the lens pics was the only way.

VR and AR will coexist. Whenever one user wants to host a gathering with their current location as the backdrop, all they need is AR to render the avatars of their guests. The guests will want to visit within VR so they can see the host's environment.

Arm locomotion takes practice/familiarization, but so did mouse+keyboard and twin-stick controls in past generations. I'm just a normal VR consumer who plays a few games a year, which allows me to focus on this core VR-native skillset that will pay off in the years going forward
