Congrats to the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland for a fantastic course and concerts in Kilkenny and Limerick. Our students from had a wonderful time and were represented in every section of the NYOI so successfully under the baton of Ruth Reinhardt. We are very proud of all 25 of them!
We are delighted to welcome Dr Clare Wilson to the Dept of Musicianship & Academic Studies. Clare holds a PhD in music theory and analysis from Ulster University, MA in historical musicology from Maynooth University & an Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.

We are delighted to welcome Dr Billy O'Brien to the dept. of Keyboard Studies. He was awarded a Doctor in Music Performance from Trinity College Dublin & RIAMDublin. His research focused on questions of aesthetics and performance studies in relation to Maurice Ravel’s 5 mvmt suite Miroirs.
