The Arakan Army's labeling of Rohingya as 'Bengali' fuels hatred & justifies their brutality. Their treatment of Rohingya is eerily similar to the Burmese military's crimes. Twan Mrat Naing disregards international law with impunity. True liberation requires respect for all ethnicities

This weekend, Rohingya remaining in Buthidaung township, Rakhine state, have been being targeted with coordinated killings, large-scale arson attacks and shelling, beginning on 17 May. Credible sources cite Arakan Army soldiers as committing the attacks.

The more AA gest control of Arakan they more they reveal their true face. I remember Shwe Maung once staying, junta started the Rohingya genocide but the actual genocide of Rohingya will be complicated by AA and it’s affiliates Rakhine extremists.
