Isolated severe weather remains an outside possibility tonight, but much better chances await for Monday (and Tuesday). Two rounds of severe weather are possible on Monday with the first focusing along the SD/NE border midday and the other waiting until after midnight.

Storm development is expected along the SD state line before pushing south later this evening. Tuesday's storms will be focused more on the southern half of the area. Damaging wind will be the most common threat, but hail bigger than 2" and a few tornadoes are also possible.
