The MTAA & MTA SA/NT Chairs met senior Ministers & Senators in Canberra today to discuss the transition to zero/low emission vehicles, franchising reform, & skills/training. The automotive industry presented a united front to national decision makers.

New laws have been proposed by the State Government requiring motorists passing towing or roadside assistance vehicles with amber flashing lights to slow down to 25km/h. The proposed changes follow more than 5 years of MTA calls to the State Government for this safety reform.
