Just done an interview for Newsround next Tuesday about cost of living crisis. Hard to tone it right, but my aim was to help children understand what's happening, so if they are in a home struggling, they know its not their folks at fault, and that it's ok. Not easy.

The simplest tasks can make for excellent retrieval practice. This game of Noughts and Crosses was very well received and appealed to their competitive nature. Students liked being asked to retrieve knowledge from their previous unit.
