Welcome to MGI's newest Fulbright Scholar, Kefas Malgwi! Kefas hails from Nigeria. He is trained as a veterinarian, and at MSU, he will be working with Victor DiRita and Shannon Manning exploring anti-microbial discovery to combat Campylobacter jejuni.

This summer, 20 young Brazilian physicians came to MGI for a 3-day seminar in diagnostic dermatology as part of an 18-year partnership between MSU and the Brazilian ISMD. The class was led by Dr. Leo Mendoza, Dr. Raquel Vilela (ISMD director), and Dr. Alvaro Laga of Harvard.

Dr. Kirstin Parkin was awarded the 2024 CHM Green Apple Award at last Saturday's CHM Ball. This award is student-selected and honors a faculty member who has had a significant positive impact on the students' academic experience. Read more here: mgi.natsci.msu.edu/news-and-event…
