How great does it feel to give back?! So proud of the Student Leadership Committee who organized for the Durham Regional Police 34TH annual Food & Toy Drive. Our Norman G Powers Public School families were so generous and had such a giving spirit. This is going to make a lot of smiles happen!

At our Dec staff meeting we discussed used more mindfulness (and mental health awareness) in our practice. In that spirit the Grade 8s have begun their 5 minute Gratitude Journals!

A bit of a late post but on Dec 23rd I brought the rest of the toy donations that were Norman G Powers Public School after the pick up time the week before to Oshawa Fire Services! Thank you for having me in the hall!
