Sunday I held my Garden Party at the Stevenage District Scouts HQ . I enjoyed afternoon tea, cake, the Welwyn Garden City Band, connecting with local communities & meeting the dignitaries from other Herts towns & cities. I support Herts Sport & Physical Activity Partnership (HSP) Stevenage Arts Guild & People for People

Did you know Stevenage has been twin towned with Kadoma in Zimbabwe since 1989? Together we are building a bridge of mutual understanding, cultural exchange and shared progress. Kadoma visitors joined me Stevenage Council to cut a cake in celebration of 35 years of our partnership.


Yesterday I ran the 40th anniversary Stevenage Marathon, becoming the 1st active Mayor Stevenage Council to finish it. Despite strong winds and rain, the event, organised by Fairlands Valley Spartans, saw 700+ runners come together and complete the Stevenage Marathon, or the Half.


Great to represent Stevenage Council and talk at the @Step2Skills inclusive job fair. It was held at Stevenage FC 🔴⚪. At the event I got a valuable insight into the important the work they do for our local community, making #Stevenage #EvenBetter


On Sat I was 1 of 327 people running the annual Stevenage parkrun, inc 72 first timers, 76 Pb's, 47 clubs & 37 volunteers. At Stevenage Council Stevenage Together Awards our parkrun won special recognition "for an organisation or individual that epitomises the essence of community".


I had a great Supernova evening coming together with local Junction 7 Creatives C.I.C artists and connecting with their art at the Gridserve launch on behalf of Stevenage Council. Together we are making #Stevenage #EvenBetter


In historic & beautiful surroundings of St Albans Cathedral today to give thanks for all responsible for law & order in our county at the invitation of our fabulous High Sheriff, Annie Brewster. So proud to see Stevenage represented in the procession by our MP Kevin Bonavia MP .


A privilege to represent Stevenage Council and come together with our local community and East Herts Council @hertsccat St Albans Cathedral yesterday by kind invitation of Herts High Sheriff for her Justice Service recognising those within the judiciary who work to keep us all safe. #Stevenage


I had a busy weekend connecting and coming together with our diverse local community celebrating Sakhi Milap Diwali at the OvalCommunityCentre and Inter Faith Week, where I was a guest speaker at the Stevenage Inter Faith Forum hosted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
