We’ve been so inspired this week by ‘Sometimes I Feel like an Oak’ by Danielle Daniel! Ss created tree silhouettes with sharpie on transparency sheets that were then placed on top of their oil pastel resist paintings inspired by the book’s cover 🌳✨

The weaving of our Name Quilt has begun! Ss are reviewing different lines & shapes to create crayon resist name strips that are woven together to make a class quilt. We’re also having discussions about the importance of saying each other’s names correctly…more to come ✨
