Day 1: Final Product Displays The Mississippi State University Concrete Canoe Team was up bright and early to set up our final product display! This is one of the four categories that represents 25% of our total overall score. The Maroon Pearl, also weighed in at 198.4 lbs.

Day 2: Presentation Day Today Taylor Buie and Eric Blackmon took the stage to represent the Maroon Pearl. The presentation must be within 5 seconds of 5 minutes, or the team will be penalized, followed by 7 minutes of Q & A. I am happy to say they finished in the allotted time.

Day 3: The Mississippi State University Concrete Canoe Team finished 14th in the National Concrete Canoe Competition! We finished 11th in the Design Paper, 18th in the Oral Presentation, 14th in the Final Product Display, 6th in the Men's Sprint, and 5th in the Coed Sprint!
