We investigated one of the most controversial topics….is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable??🤷🏼‍♀️🍅 Thank you Mystery Science for teaching us about why plants make fruit and how to differentiate between a science fruit and a science vegetable🔍

We love using math centers to practice our multiplication facts!

We learned about text features through a text feature scavenger hunt, surgery, and matching game!

To kick off our magnet unit in science, the kids had to determine whether an object was magnetic or not. They also had to complete the following challenges: 1. Make a paper clip float and 2. Make another magnet float! They were very successful!🧲🧑🏼‍🔬

We had so much fun on our field trip around town! The kids had a blast learning about and seeing all of the historical sites and landmarks of Norton!

Working on our research writing skills through our animal research project! Our first step is taking notes on a specific topic through multiple sources! 🧐

We have been working hard this week on our animal research projects! The kids created Google Slides to share their research and used Brush Ninja to make animations that represented each of their topics!

This year I am stepping out of the classroom and working as a grades 3-8 math interventionist!! I am so excited for this new journey 📊🍏 Here’s to year 5 🎉
