Morning thunder and lightning tomorrow. Oh goody. The pond in our drive was at risk of not attracting ducks, and the dog hasn’t had his nerves nearly frazzled enough.

Got into conversation with a bloke upon leaving the park walking Rufus this morning. We talked dogs, of course. He said “(when I used to) get lagered”, goodness I said, haven’t heard that phrase in donkeys. Anyway, if you need a drainlayer, Stu seemed a decent, self employed guy.

One of my lifelong friends is a STMS; you know, one of those people who lays road cones out as part of their job. A road cone may stand around excessively doing nothing, but the people employed to manage safety on a site work. To keep us safe. It’s a good thing. ⚠️
