sounds about right. It’s a good transit project, just not at that cost for the relatively low ridership projected. Prediction: they’ll find $50MM (~10%) to cut and it’ll move up to medium. This will be the next rapid transit line in MSP, after the Green (SWLRT) and Orange Lines

We have some serious misconceptions about who lives in new housing. Reams of data show that it's primarily local residents. In this study, more than 2/3 of the 52,000 residents living in new market-rate housing came from the same city where that housing was built.
