I’ll be working alongside Jayne Pearce, who’s been co-chair for a few years, and the trustees to support CEO Alex Tambourides to lead this important & growing organisation linkedin.com/posts/msnaomip… #MentalHealth
Having run out of annual leave a while ago, I'm grateful for the additional leave we get Learning and Work Institute - extra days off tacked on to #BankHoliday that don't come out of our allowance. Looking forward to my 'grace day' which I will have all to myself👌🙂linkedin.com/posts/msnaomip…

Very pleased to sign this letter, which Learning and Work Institute has led on with Carers Trust . Current rules, for example, don't allow young adult carers to claim Carer's Allowance & do T levels, but they can do some other qualifications. Time to end this anamoly.
Happy to have signed Health Equals letter👇The Times and The Sunday Times today. Secure jobs with decent pay, conditions & prospects allow us to thrive, but health problems worsen with poor working conditions. Good work is a crucial building block of health #BillofHealth

Thank you to BBC Radio Bristol and Paris Troy for highlighting #apprenticeships this morning.
We don’t need to overhaul the system but we do need to widen access to underrepresented groups including young people and people with lower-level or no qualifications
Should the national minimum wage be raised further?
