Once again she let a man too close to her heart, too deep under her skin. Why? Perhaps she hoped he wouldn't be like others. Maybe she hoped he would love her unconditionally. How wrong she was. He only loved himself, not caring enough for her feelings to actually hide it.

"I see you... but do you see me too?"

"I had a fairy tale once but now it's just a tale."

"You again!? I hope this time you brought me a little bottle of vodka at least."

|| I need to reinvent her because this story doesn't work fully for her anymore.

"It's been almost a year since..." she sighs, sitting on the front porch of her small cabin.

"I managed to snatch an apple from someone's gardens in the village."

She sighs and tugs blanket to her chin, listening to the wind howling and feeling a tad cold in her bed.

Lorena wakes up in the dawn from cold. Unable to get back to sleep she gets up and walks to a near river. The fog was still coating river, and a cold, moist breeze made her eyes water.

Lorena looks around to make sure if she's alone before she undresses and tiptoes into the cold river, gasping when the water reaches to her more tender parts of her body.

She was simply trying to survive in the woods, not trusting anyone anymore.

Lorena sees someone from afar, someone who was once dear for her and sighs.

Lorena smiles faintly to him when she realises he saw her. The girl takes a step closer but stops. Perhaps he preferred for her to stay away. She knew she was just a fragment of his past.

Lorena gets encouragement from his nod and approaches the table with light steps. She was still unsure about herself but at least had gotten rid of her old habit to keep her gaze on the floor.

Lorena sets up a small trap in hope of catching a dinner for tonight and sits under a tree, waiting. She loved to watch water, it didn't matter river or lake. It brought calm to her.

The stars are always out there, even when you don't see them. #Nox

"It looks like it's about to rain." She pulls her shoulder scarf tighter around herself. She was cold as she was sitting on the stairs, in front of her little hut.

"I can watch your baby while you are working on the field," Lorena offers to anyone who could give her a coin in return.
