One of my family’s farms is up for sale today. Dad had 3 neighbors call him last night and asked if he was going to bid. They all three said they wouldn’t bid against him. Pretty cool. I will remember that.

Many growers are asking if wheat that hasn’t emerged will vernalize. In order for wheat to vernalize, seed must imbibe 30-40% water by weight. This triggers germination and vernalization. Plenty of soil moisture so vernalization should not be a problem.
