This morning we Pugged HHS Culinary Teacher Betsy Slemmons, our 1st CTE teacher to be Pugged twice! When we went by today, her students were making strawberry shortcake so we were thrilled when they shared with us! #youvebeenpugged HHS CTE

Ms. Slemmons' student teacher, Hannah Heiser, is also her former Education & Training student. We are happy she is continuing her education with Hays CISD and we hope to see her back here teaching full-time in the future.

Gorzycki MS were on my list last week to visit. This school is a beautiful place to be Austin ISD AISD Secondary School Leadership. Love the bulletin boards; so many electives for students to get involved with. Oh and did you know GMS has free-range chickens? 🤗🫶🏾

I had a great support day Gorzycki MS. An added perk was seeing Hannah Heiser in her own beautiful classroom (my student teacher last spring)! Her hallway display in “Flavors of Heritage: Celebrating Hispanic Chefs” is both creative and relevant. Beyond proud! 🥹
