News Flush! Yes, flush! Last month students voted on the title of the new library newspaper that is strategically posted in student bathrooms. The title "News Flush" won the student vote.

This month, for Black History Month, the newspaper highlights award winning books written by African American authors. Four examples are pictured below and available for checkout as ebooks and physical books.

I struggle in February. I hate the cold. I tolerate snow. Some days, I’m just plain crabby. Like today. But then I opened my desk drawer to grab my hand lotion. And I saw this little note. No idea which student slipped it under my door last year, but I kept it. Crabby=gone ❤️

To pair with the Mars Rover Perseverance landing on Mars today, library students learned about Mars and another Mars rover named Curiosity. Students created their own flat rockets using paper tangrams or 3D rockets using paper, tape, and a straw.
