The vote saw every member of the opposition voting against, and just one Labour abstention - with the rest following the party whip to the letter. The St Bart’s team could now appeal to the official adjudicators so watch this space, but a sorry day to see so many ideas ignored.

Been watching this local campaign to keep a Brighton nursery open v closely, and have to say I’m hugely disappointed by the new Labour council. The half-truths & blatant obfuscations are appalling enough without trying to shut down campaigners themselves.
