The Grade 3s and I tried some Métis dot art for National Indigenous Peoples’ Day! I think their work turned out pretty great!

This was the year of 3s for me! I mainly taught in 3 schools- with the École Elsie Mironuck 4/5s, Glen Elm School Kinders, and of course my 3 amazing months with my 33 Grade 3s Marion McVeety. Looking forward to a great last day tomorrow and a new adventure with Saskatoon Public Schools next fall!

I’m proud of the important discussions the Grade 3/4s and all the Bishop Klein students had this week about Truth and Reconciliation and the importance of Orange Shirt Day. #EveryChildMatters

We started off #TakeMeOutsideDay week by spending Arts Ed. outside making mandalas out of natural materials. The Grade 3/4s had a blast!

It was so cool to have Dr. Shelley Moore, PhD visit Bishop Klein today to celebrate all the inclusion wins in our school! Major shout out to our LATs, EAs, SLP, teachers, admin and all staff for creating such an inclusive and welcoming learning environment for all our students!

Last week, Bishop Klein Community School hosted Shelley Moore & showcased the environment created to meet diverse student needs. Highlights: 'seed packets' that each student had created, learning spaces, meeting staff, & enjoying lunch served by an amazing group of students.
