I challenge you to practice this like my kg Ss do: say “I need more practice” or “I’m really struggling w/this”. Not “I can’t’. I know I need to take my own advice, but it’s a nice reminder when I hear students practicing not putting themselves down 💜

My kg Ss earned about 60 checks on these cards by modeling many safe, kind, and helpful behaviors and earned a prize for it. After pi day, many wanted to pie me in the face so I told them if they get all of these checks all over again they can pie me. We’ll see what happens! 😂

My heart melted into a puddle today. When a student had been getting frustrated with what they could tell they didn’t know compared to their classmates, hearing them say “Look Ms. Drysdale I did it!” In the most proud voice I’ve ever heard, is the best feeling 💜

A colleague gets full credit for telling me about it end of last school year, but we signed up to adopt a calf for our class this year! So excited for my kindergarteners to learn about cows and how farms work, etc. with Kate and her farmers/care takers! 🐮❤️#kindergarten
