Together with all the stakeholders in attendance, we have developed joint strategies and action plans that will pave way for a more comprehensive and inclusive policy and legal framework on SRHR.

Day 3 of the consultative meeting with Members of the Mombasa County Assembly Health Committee have yielded a clear roadmap for our further collaborative efforts for policy & legal reforms on Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH)

The Department of Health is defending its departmental ceilings as captured in the CFSP 2024/25. This is in relation to the previous year's budgetary expenditure.

The Health Committee is in a consultative session with Hakijamii on policy formulation regarding sexual and reproductive health and rights access. The team will discuss research findings and analyse SRHR-related studies.

Building from the recommendations from Research studies on SRHR access & goodwill of @Mombasa County policy makers to relook at the Mombasa Health Policies, we have convened a consultative meeting to deliberate on the research findings and the impact of the policies.

The Department of Lands, Urban renewal & Housing is defending its departmental ceilings as captured in the CFSP 2024/25 with focus on preceding FY budgetary performance, expenditure analysis including absorption rates and priorities in carrying out various county projects.

Committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriations is meeting with the Department of Education to negotiate competing priorities on ceilings outlined in CFSP 2024/25 with a specific focus on preceding financial year's budgetary performance and expenditure analysis.

Pursuant to Standing Order 205, the Committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriations is currently meeting with the Department of Environment and Solid Waste Management to foster discussions, exchange views and provide clarification on pertinent matters outlined in CFSP 2024/25.
