Plank Tag with Hula Hoop Rescuers! First Grade discussed the importance of playing games for exercise. This a prime example of students having fun while exercising. PLAY = EXERCISE FOR THE BODY AND BRAIN! #trinitylearns

Still one of our FAVORITE intro to kicking activities! 🤘🏼😎 Challenge options! 1) try to trap hoop under front part of their shoe 2) try to land with one foot inside hoop 3) try to land with both feet inside hoop Mr. S #elempe #PhysEd #kickingskills

Another gem found on here! Don't have a name for it yet! But the S's loved it! All said how easy it was going to be... Only to found out the struggle was real! A great challenge for all! And sooooo much fun! Mrs. Burke Tribune Drive P.S. Ophea PHE Canada | EPS Canada

🧟‍♂️HIGHWAY Z🧟‍♂️ Ss are working on space in #physed today. Drivers are to avoid the zombies on the road. If a driver is tagged by a zombie, then the roles will switch. Can you outlast?

Found this modified Spike Ball game for 3-5 called King/Queen of the Court! The King/Queen serves the ball, the game continues until a student misses the ball, double hit, or doesn’t hit the ball inside the hoop. Great instructional video I found here: youtu.be/8yrNiNVHLTU

☃️Frosty the Snowman☃️ If your snowman gets knocked over, take your pin outside the lines and do 5 sit ups or pushups. You must be by your pin to throw a snowball.

Lookin to add some variety to your hand-striking #physed units? Try “2-Tangle”! This creation is a blend of 4-Square, Spike Ball, Ping-Pong and Pickle Ball all in one and our 3rd-5th graders LOVE IT! So many learning 🎯 hit, not to mention a perfect segway into VBall skills!

Blasterball from PhysEdGames in honor of the Royals Opening Day! Batters have to run around all the bases and make it back to home before the fielders make 5 consecutive catches. 3 outs or 7 runs=switch. SO MUCH COMMUNICATION AND TEAMWORK! 👏🏼 Super fun game! OlatheElemPE

Head, Shoulders, Knees, Cone. Thanks @ScottPhysEd for idea. Teacher will say body part and Ss will touch. If cone, grab your cone, run and touch wall and come back to white line before partner. OlatheElemPE KAHPERD

Easy warm up for K! Hiders and seekers- hiders hide ball under cones, and seekers put ball on top of cone. Good for fine motor skills, and a great way to add different locomotor movements when moving from one cone to another.
