Unpopular Opinion: I don't hate off brand school supplies. As a non-art teacher, Roseart crayons are FINE. I do prefer my pencils pre-sharpened though! ;)

Squid Games is one of those shows I felt uncomfortable with but yet still watched and until season 3, liked (enjoyed seems like the wrong word). Now that I am partway through season 3 I can say decisively I am done. I just became too unsettled. I did Google the end but...ugh.

My kids had swim lessons at 9 : 30 this morning. Waking up, getting ready, and arriving on time was a STRUGGLE. I feltnlike we were fighting for our lives. Returning to school in August may be rough.

While I am consciously reducing my time spent working at home, I am simply not a "contract hours only" teacher. I know that may be toxic but it is what it is at this point.
