Do I hear $10? Students participated in a simulation activity of two economic policies - the free market and colonial mercantilism. Ask us how the two are different!

After reading “Bella and Rosie Love the Fall” and “Fall in Massachusetts,” we described what fall LOOKS like, things you CAN do, and what the weather IS like. Then we used our chart to write all about fall! So proud of their hard work! WWP_Dalers

We love reading GEODES! We then used a graphic organizer to plan our writing. Ask us what we learned!

Let’s retell! After reading “Little Dinosaur, the Hero” we wrote the most important parts of the story, using First, Next, Then, and Last!

After reading “Hi! Fly Guy,” about learning how Fly Guy became a pet, we wrote about our own pets! Both girlies were excited to learn they BOTH have pet cats!!

This week we focused on using our close reading strategies to help us answer questions! By going back to the text, we can make our answer stronger!

What really happened the night of the Boston Massacre? Students participated in an investigation and had a trial to prove, was Captain Preston responsible? Or was it the British soldiers? Ask us to find out!

These friends practiced reading and writing a few sight words, and then found them in our story!

To learn more about Main Idea and Details, these readers played ‘Sort it Out!’ They were given a topic, and had to sort the details that went along with the main idea! After, we read to determine the Main Idea of our book, and wrote a few details! WWP_Dalers
