Started our Animated Movie Bracket today to finish out the year. Students turned in their own, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at the end will get a prize. Any guesses on which movie will be victorious?!

Today was the trial of the Boston Massacre. The question: Should the soldiers be convicted of murder of the dead colonists? The verdict: Innocent! #gentryleads

Practicing the power of main idea today with protests about colonists’ violation of rights. The kids showed out today, but I think this slogan sung to the tune of “I Want It That Way” may be the most convincing #GentryLeads

Ended the semester with Gentry Jaguar Bands playing me happy birthday (which is Saturday). What a treat! Have a great break Jags!

Tomorrow is the kickoff to the SOUTHSIDE SHOWDOWN! As the week goes on we can earn points that will help us win the Southside Showdown trophy and to BEAT JOHN WARNER! Make sure to wear your crazy socks and help us earn our first 10 points with the highest attendance percentage!

This week we held elections with @Gentry_StuCo. Students running created campaign videos and posters. Then, today the student body got to vote using real ballots and machines from Boone County Clerk, and they even got I Voted stickers! It was such an amazing real life experience!

Today was my favorite day because I got my own personal Christmas carols and a Happy Birthday song from Gentry Jaguar Bands! What a great way to end first semester!!
