Teacher Residents are starting the year off strong with their host teachers at Ridgemont ELC ! They were engaging in coteach models and assisting with beginning of the year testing and data collection. They are getting a strong teaching foundation in Fort Bend ISD!

Teacher Residents have spent almost a year at Neill Elementary and are getting ready to graduate & have their own classrooms in Fort Bend ISD! Today they visited classrooms across the campus to see great things happening at all grade levels & set goals for growing their practice!

Amazing mentoring happening at Rita Drabek Elementary! It was great to see different co-teach models being utilized. In 1 class the student teacher and cooperating teacher were Team Teaching, while in another the student teacher was leading the lesson on her own! Join us in Fort Bend ISD!

It was great to connect with other local LEAs at the UHDowntown Distinct Showcase! I had an opportunity to share with their students all about residency in Fort Bend ISD! I even got to reconnect with an old colleague Sara Caldwell from Alief ISD! #ResidencyinFBISD

We had a successful PD session for our 40 graduating preservice teachers! They learned interview tips, resume prep tips, and even got to meet and greet with some FBISD principals and APs! Special thanks to Sartartia, Marshall, Ridgemont, Heritage Rose, and Goodman for attending!
