HAPPY S.T.E.M WEEK!!! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬 Today students were given a challenge to stack 6 cups in a specific way. The catch? They couldn’t touch the cups! Instead they were given a rubber band with string attached, and could only touch the string!! #TPSSTEM

To make things tougher! The second time around, the students couldn’t talk for the first two minutes!! This challenge had students engaged, strategizing and collaboratively working! 🙌🏼 they also realized how important being an effective communicator really is!! #TPSSTEM

🏁racing on through our motion lesson! 🏎 Today students set their cars in motion and calculated their different speeds. Students saw the connection between distance and time rather than just memorizing the formula, which is a win in my book! ☺️👏🏼 #thsscience #tpsscience
