Dyslexia is like having a super brain that reads words in a special way. It makes reading and spelling a bit tricky sometimes. It's like having a secret code that needs extra practice to unlock. But hey, it doesn't stop you from being super awesome at other things! 🧠📚

2nd graders at Paumanok in Ms. Carboni's class played a Headbands game. One student had to read the sentence on their partner's headband, while the other student had to write what they heard. They worked hard and had fun while practicing encoding and decoding! #HHHCSD

Students and staff across Half Hollow Hills wore blue as part of the #LightItUpBlue campaign in celebration of World Autism Month, helping to increase the awareness that leads to understanding and acceptance for those impacted by Autism. #HHHCSD

Otsego students put their athletic skills to the test with a day-long Field Day competition. Students on both the Yellow and the Blue Teams participated in Tug-O-War, Basketball, water bucket fill and other fun relays. #HHHCSD
