People talk about the idea of Good to Great…and today I observed a GREAT lesson. 1. Teacher has positive relationships with students ✅ 2. Student engagement ✅ 3. Student led conversations ✅ When students don’t want a lesson to end, you know you’re doing something right!

Students in Team Inspiration have the opportunity to experience Ellis Island today as part of their historical fiction and non-fiction units.

Today was our annual sing-along! Our kids had a blast singing winter songs followed by classroom parties and a PJ and Play day.

A team of DAIS teachers had the opportunity to check out Fluxspace today. It was inspiring and gave us ideas as to how we may be innovative in our own practices. Thank you Ryne Anthony for hosting us and an amazing day.

Congratulations to our three Dallastown Envirothon teams for placing 1st, 4th, and 5th at the annual York County Event. This event included 38 teams from across York County. We are so proud of our students! Dallastown Area School District

Today was an AMAZING day at DAIS! We kicked off our PTO fundraising event for 23-24 with our annual Pep Rally!

Today is Fall Fest at DAIS. Students had the opportunity to decorate pumpkins as a team, watch a fun mystery story about the basement at DAIS, and enjoy fun activities with their friends!

Big thanks to Miller’s plant farm for supplying pumpkins for DAIS fall fest! Creativity at its best!
