1st day in new school today. No students so setting up my desk etc. anyone else struggle not comparing old to the new? Still have that mix of excitement for the new, missing the old and anxiety for my ability to do the job. Couldn’t help but take a pic of 1 of my leaving presents

Finally got round to testing the bike ride to new school. Canal adds a bit on distance but nice ride. Over the last 5 years I’ve ran and biked on the canal a lot, and saw a first today, think they’ve escaped a local farm. Had to stop and take a photo.
