Let’s stop using the word “homework” & “class work”, and instead call it “practice”. Stop categorizing learning activities by the location where it’s supposed to take place, & instead name it for its purpose.

Today instructional leaders Falls Church HS conducted empathy interviews around grading. It’s always great to hear from students, they have the most interesting things to say. How can we effectively evaluate our grading practices if we don’t include student voice?!
