Grade 3s are exploring forces! They've learned that a force is a push or pull and that it's measured in Newtons. They compared the force needed to lift an object versus pulling it across a table.

February is #BlackHistoryMonth, and our HCDSB community will be honouring Black Canadians, both past & present!

On Friday our grade 4-8 students attended a powerful P.E.A.C.E. assembly

Students in Grades 4-6 took part in the Rocks and Rings program, where they explored the sport of curling while building teamwork and having fun!

LC was inspired by an incredible visit from motivational speaker D.O. Gibson D.O. Gibson! A Guinness World Record-setting rapper, author, and speaker, D.O. empowers students with messages on anti-bullying, leadership, and perseverance "Stay Driven"!

Grade 3 students wrapped up their Forces & Motion unit by designing and building toys and games that use force to make things move! Check out some of their fantastic creations!
