There are so many things we can all do to support our #mentalhealth. But do you know what REALLY helps? Having a secure place to live, being able to feed yourself and pay your bills, being able to be yourself safely, and knowing someone is there if you need. Let’s do THAT.

Being abandoned by family + community would have almost certainly resulted in death for our ancestors. As such, we have evolved to respond to social threats or the slightest hints of abandonment or rejection with intense attempts to avoid or control them.
