The Ks were excited to explore how blubber keeps penguins warm. Some Ks tested how long they could keep their hand on the ice while comfortably keeping their hand in the bucket of ice with the blubber. Very cool! pine river

We had a picnic today, with inspiration from another great book. “What is the name of your sandwich, Mrs Robinson?,” one K asked. I named my sandwich The Eggstreme Sandwich. Yes, it was a big messy challenge to eat!
