This week, my students at Park, Munson, and CELC had the opportunity to see monarch butterfly caterpillars and chrysalis up close! They loved learning about their life cycle and can’t wait to see them as butterflies!

Concert season is crazy. Yet, when the dust settles on their time at school, the memories of such events will live long in their memory. Not only this, the friendships they make and the experiences they gain will accompany them through life to the betterment of everything.

Another wonderful OMEA Professional Development Conference has come to a close! I had an amazing time and have even more tools in my toolbox to bring back home to my students! I also had the opportunity to preside over a session for one of my music ed idols, Dr. Missy Strong!
