S2 had a fantastic day @ Surgeon’s Hall & The National Museum of Scotland as part of their Social Subjects Curriculum. Touring each museum allowed them to relate their classroom learning with the real world. Winchburgh Academy #SocialSubjects

Well done to our Language & Society VIPs! This time we celebrated our S2 learners who have consistently and constantly demonstrated our values since the beginning of S2. No photos of the cakes as they were gone in seconds, and no photos of the boys as they were all camera shy! 🥳

All set for our ‘swish’ event tomorrow morning in line with our cost of the school day strategy. Parents/carers are invited from 11am, lots of items available and you can stay for a coffee then enjoy our end of term values reflection ceremony at 11.45am in the Theatre. #dignity

We end the month of May on a high note celebrating our incredible Learners of the Month across our Language & Society Faculty, as well as our S3 VIPs! Well done to all of you for an incredible term! 👏🏻

S1 had an incredible day at Xcite doing team building, archery and mountain biking. Pupils were working on their collaboration, adapting and focusing skills. They had an absolute blast! 🏹🚵🏼‍♂️

S1/2 had their final Imagine Dragon’s Showcase. Groups have been planning an event and considering all things finance, marketing and merch-making. Some have even created their own VIP boards and event signposts - expertly modelled, too! Stay tuned to find out the winner 👀#PBL
