Last week, Y4 began their new topic on Invaders and Settlers of Britain and started to learn about the Romans. We tasted spelt bread like they ate in the Roman Army, made mosaics and designed shields after looking at those that the Roman’s used. #inspirecurriculum

Y4 had a fab day of learning about the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings @tatton_park today. We learned about how they used shields to defend themselves, how to catch deer and how they threshed wheat to make bread. #inspirecurriculum #firsthandexperiences #expertlearners
