The Boosterthon Fun Run was a blast!

Our favorite new low-tech pastime? Puzzling! Students worked together over the last few weeks, using bits of breaks and precious down time to put together this 500-piece beauty. 👏

It was an old-fashioned kind of Valentine’s Day in room 23! Students enjoyed a classic game of musical chairs after exchanging cards with classmates this afternoon. 💗 🎵

We made wigwams! Woodland Indians used saplings, bark, and vines. Ours were made from pipe cleaners, felt, and rubber bands! It was a challenging task for our young designers. They learned how much work went into building these homes using raw materials.

Friday + math centers = messy + fun ✅

EGE art show. Each student will have a framed piece of art at the show. Mark your calendars to come to EGE ‘s gym April 16th anytime from 5:00pm-7:00pm. If you LOVE the frame you can buy it for $20, but you don’t have to.

Students played “Decimal war” today! Which is bigger, 0.33 or 0.4? Base ten blocks helped us visualize tenths and hundredths. ⭐️

Spirit week was a blast! See you tomorrow at the spring fair!

Students built geometry castles out of index cards today! They completed the challenge with 200 cards or less and NO verbal communication whatsoever. 🙊Today’s castles needed to be exactly 2 ft. tall and shaped like a square from above.

Soaring into fourth grade! ✈️ (yes, these are real paper airplanes...and yes, we will get to test them out!)
