Today was the last day of art for my Monday classes. As a class reward, some classes participated in shaving cream art. I gave them drawing prompts and they were able to free draw. So messy, but so fun! #stony126

1st grade learned about food advertising and created branded cereal boxes and appetizing visual advertisements.They loved the process of splashing and blowing the “milk” around to create realistic splashes, which is done with white paint and straws and splatter painting.#stony126

6th grade students are using oil pastels to draw a realistic dragon eye. They are learning how to use tints and shades of a color to create shadows and highlights. They apply oil pastel techniques to their artwork to achieve these value changes.#stony126
