Yesterday I said I didn’t feel old enough to be in the ‘old people’ category on X-Factor but I just got into bed and made a comment about how happy I was that we’d got so much washing done while the sun was out today and now I realise I do belong in the over 25s club.🥲

Took the dog for a fun little photoshoot on Sunday at a local dog-friendly cafe and the pictures did not disappoint! My beautiful babies 🥰

I hate cooking but it’s SO worth it when Bertie loves meal! I think it’s safe to say he enjoyed this one! 😂🥰

I’ve just been told which year group and team I’ll be with from September and I actually couldn’t be more excited! 🥳

Excited to return to work next month and get back to a little bit of normal! Not excited to have to get dressed and do my makeup / hair every day - that part is going to killlll me 😭

It baffles me how some people think it’s okay to just say what’s on their mind! I was shopping and the lady behind me at the till thought it was ok to tell me I’m a young mum! I told her I am 25 so she then told me I look like I’m still at school! Like what???

Returning to work on Monday after a whole year off and despite being very excited to get some of my life back, I’m a bit sad that I’ll no longer be spending all day, every day with him 😢 we never contact nap any more but today he decided he wanted one! 🥲

Outlook notifications are back on, my outfit is hung over the bannister and the Sunday scaries are back and better than ever. Time to begin a new chapter and work out how to navigate life as both a mum AND a teacher!

On the way home from work I watched some guy coming the opposite direction get mega road rage, hand gestures and all, at the person in front of him then we made eye contact and giggled about it together before traffic moved on and I think it was the highlight of my day 😂

Well I completely underestimated how hard it is to work full time when the baby is poorly and will not sleep at all! Add being poorly myself onto it and it’s great times 😂 I’ve had 2 hours sleep tonight and it’s looking unlikely that I’ll get any more!

My classroom next year is teeny tiny and has no cupboards (only a very limited number of shelves and trays). Any suggestions how best to use the space? What could I do with children’s books? Please help I’ve only ever had a massive classroom with a walk in cupboard! 😬😭

Last weekend this little blondie turned 1 and got his helmet off! He was super poorly for his birthday AND his party but still managed to enjoy the celebrations! 🧸🥰

Since coming back to work I’ve had an absolute whirlwind of a time covering here, there and everywhere but today topped it… spent the morning in Y6 then the afternoon in YR! 😂

When I was younger I always thought I would be a girl mum but I couldn’t see myself with girls these days 😂 my whole life is planes, cars, bikes, farts and giggles and I LOVE IT! I can see myself being overrun by boys in the future!🤦🏼‍♀️💙
