I feel the need to show off my Femineers’ projects today! Here’s just a few….

For me, it was the instructor that commented about dumb blondes. I did complete the coursework so I can teach it, but that experience completely turned me off.

All of things are important, but what will you take away? Adding all of things will take time and resources, but we only have 180 days of instruction. Aside from standardized testing, what should go to make room for these things in our schedule?

Y’all, look at my kids collaborating in computer science. They figure things out and then teach each other. Such a joy to see them being excited about learning!

Shout out to Marriott Hotels in Monterey today! We haven’t had electricity since last night, but they have done a great job making sure we have been able to charge our phones and that we are able to eat meals since there is no place nearby with power.

Our Femineers had a great day at SDSU’s Femineer Summit yesterday. A big thank you to Cal Poly Pomona and SDSU for hosting this event celebrating our students’ work over the past year!

Had a great time at Monrovia Unified’s Femineer Summit! The students’ projects were amazing, and the teachers I worked with last summer did some fantastic work with their students. And I get to cross “be a keynote speaker” off the bucket list!
