Egg laying day for the snapping turtles!We missed the ones at the beach, but caught one crossing the road. In the 1st pic, you can see tracks on the lower left as she came up to nest, and the tracks above her nest are where she turned back. Can also see the drag mark from tail.

Bass- it's what's for (tomorrow's) dinner, lol! First one of the season.

Lake life leaves Trixie tuckered out every night, lol.

Usually I only see deer at dawn or dusk in our yard up here, but this gal wanted to come visit in the middle of the day, lol!!

Missing person : Norton PD is actively searching for an elderly male who had not returned from morning walk in area of Cobb St. and No. Washington Allan Ramie. Allan was wearing white t-shirt and walks with a stick.

Three hours of kayaking = noodles for arms, lol!!

Most exciting part of the kayak ride, we saw a great blue heron! Very impressive to see and watching him take flight was amazing, his wing span was massive. We see tons of ducks, geese and loons, but this was a first.
