SCOPE report out today shows extra cost of being disabled is to rise by almost 12% to £14,688 in five years. That’s horrific. Disability Benefits should be rising - they already fail to make up for the extra costs of being field. Please make what noise you can so MPs #VoteNo.

Life costs more for disabled people. And the costs are rising 📈 In 2025, disabled households would need an extra £1,095 per month to have the same standard of living as non-disabled households. This is called the #DisabilityPriceTag 💷

Why are there more PIP claims? Because chronic illness has exploded. Long NHS waits. No social care. No early help. That’s not fraud - that’s government failure. #TakingThePIP

Blue badge misinformation right here. Just because you have a blue badge doesn't mean you have a Motability car. I'm not allowed to drive, I don't have a car. I can use my blue badge in whatever vehicle I want. Hell, I can be chauffeured and use it in a Ferrari if I want.

Who on Earth thinks "Actually I'm perfectly healthy enough to work but, rather than earn a full salary I chose to define myself as unfit to work and live in poverty and uncertainty for the rest of my life because I might get a few hundred pounds extra than on jobseekers"?Nobody.

In a very short period of time, politicians have gone from "Let's remove the stigma from #mentalillness and organise proper treatment" to "too many are being diagnosed with #mentalillness it's too expensive, let's treat them all as malingerers"

Lots of talk in the press at the moment about how easy it supposedly is to get a motability car. If so, why not junk your current car and apply for one then? Tell them you have acne and it's yours right?

Your regular reminder that there aren't even enough jobs for healthy people let alone millions of disabled people. Starving them won't make them appear either.

Fact: you can only claim Motability if you claim the highest rate of PIP. Which is ridiculously hard to get. And the cars aren’t free - they’re leased. Anyone who claims you can easily get a car “just” for having adhd or mental illness is chatting shit.

If someone has been deemed disabled and they can’t work, changing descriptors and moving goal posts doesn’t make them any less disabled or more able to work. The government are so pompous, ignorant, ableist and lack any ounce of empathy. They aren’t fit for the job.

I’m so sick of the lies that keep being told about disabled people, PIP & UC. The propaganda against disabled people is sickening. People have the pitchforks out reading to kill disabled people based on lies (some just because their ignorant ableist’s). We don’t deserve this.

There is no need to cut a single penny in support for disabled people. Tax extreme wealth instead. This week in Parliament I presented my petition for Wealth Taxes, Not Disability Cuts backed by over 75,000 people. I'll keep fighting for this.

Sorry to say it but the main factor that makes these floating bus stops unsafe is cyclists. It always has been. If they followed the rules of the road and weren’t such a menace to pedestrian safety, having blind people share a space with them wouldn’t be so hazardous.

Motability cars are NOT free. How do I know? I cannot afford the upfront costs for the vehicle I need and it would completely wipe out my PIP to get one, which I can't afford to live without. I don’t drive, so stop the lies. Motability cars are NOT free.

Huge issue with PIP… If you can (in theory) cook a meal, but can’t keep your kitchen clean to make a safe meal… 0 points. If you can (in theory) shower by yourself, but can’t keep your shower clean to actually clean yourself…0 points. Cleaning should be part of assessments.
