Amazing! I think we’ve all identified with students like Trevor MacKenzie ‘s ‘Chris’ Trevor’s recent workshop in Perth has inspired me to provide my year 4’s with much more freedom for their own inquiry. I’m calling it our ‘Curiosity Quest’ ‘They’re so excited’!

When assessing where a student is at now & whether they are “successful” or “failing”, I tend to ask myself: Am I measuring task completion, work ethic, & compliance? Or are we measuring growth over time set to personalized, clear, & achievable goals? There’s a big difference.

I count 8 of these skills that are demonstrated every day through the use of Philosophy in Schools.. it is such compelling evidence to support its place in the curriculum.. #P4C

My children would concur… they reply to my 3 sentence texts with ‘K’ 😳
