Field Trip Day! Thank you chaperones and Children's Museum Houston for a spectacular day! Fall Creek Elem #naturallykindergarten
What a beautiful day to play! Thank you Children's Museum Houston! You are so much fun! Fall Creek Elem #naturallykindergarten
From the sweetest first grader to a senior in no time flat! I couldn’t be prouder of this girl! Senior Night for Samantha Flores was perfect! ❤️
I was casting around for a chapter book to read with my kinders. I found a series called Zoey and Sassafras by Asia Citro. We didn’t have the books in the library so Kimberly Andrew told me about Sora. We’re now on our third book. Mr. C likes them, too ❤️
SORA is a great resource for ebook and audiobook read alouds! ❤️ I’m glad Kristen Edson’s class is enjoying it! Fall Creek Elem Humble ISD Libraries #TheHumbleLibrarian #CardinalPride
These innovative third graders came to share some great poetry ideas with our class today! They were thoughtful and engaging and we loved having them! We especially loved the rhyming potato 🥔❤️ Fall Creek Elem #naturallykindergarten
It was a great turnout! Abina Dorsett
I don’t want my little learners to start sliding backwards in their writing. Ninja Pencils to the rescue 😊 Did your sentence start with a capital? Pink belt! Do you have finger spaces? Blue belt! We are writing ninjas! Fall Creek Elem Carissa Conner
From start to finish, research about animals on the African savanna has captivated my little learners. They asked questions, wrote notes, researched and added their own little part to our great savanna scene. Fall Creek Elem #naturallykindergarten
We wanted to teach anyone who walked by through our animals and our facts Fall Creek Elem #naturallykindergarten
We learned so many interesting facts about the baobab tree and all the animals who use it! Fall Creek Elem Carissa Conner #naturallykindergarten
Last Monday of our best year ❤️ Fall Creek Elem #naturallykindergarten
On our last Tuesday of our best year, we ‘camped out and read’ today! We made blanket tents and campfires out of loose parts! There was even ‘marshmallow roasting on skewers’ ❤️ Fall Creek Elem
We sing songs. A lot of songs. I mean, it’s kindergarten so we sing songs about everything! Today I gave these little ones song books with all the songs we’ve learned this year. Pure gold. 🎶❤️ Fall Creek Elem
At the end of the first week of school this year, I had to leave to move my daughter into her apartment. I came back to find this note glued to the wall. It says, “I love you Ms. Edson.’ So much growth and so much love this year ❤️ Fall Creek Elem
