It was another great weekend in KC! We ❤️ our new home. Friday we even got to see BellPrairie Mustang music teacher, Mrs. Van Engen, perform with the Kansas City Symphony!

What a slimy good time we had last Friday celebrating our BellPrairie Mustang reaching the fundraising goal!

Our Veteran’s Day Breakfast & Assembly took place today so our community could say thank you for the sacrifices each veteran has made for our country! Thank you, PTA, for hosting this spectacular event! Our music teachers and 2nd grade students did a phenomenal job performing! 🇺🇸

Today we visited classrooms and saw high levels of student engagement and students sharing how they are learning along with their next steps!

There are so many memories captured in this blanket…from my first school shirts as a teacher at Weaver, SPS events, and my shirts as Williams Principal! 💕

A surprise early birthday present was hidden away in my Kansas City Chiefs gear basket and just in time for our first playoff game! ❤️💛 Let’s Go 💛❤️

Courtney Ellis is so deserving of this MAESP recognition #ExemplaryNewPrincipal! She was an amazing first year special education teacher at Weaver and is doing amazing work with her team at Mann Elementary in Springfield Public Schools!
