Unfortunately some of my pupils Drakies Primary couldn’t be in school today so I went to their homes to deliver their sunflowers they were growing in class 🌻 and a few extra treats. I hope I made your wee ones smile! A teachers job doesn’t end in the classroom 💕

We had a fab morning outside Drakies Primary in the sunshine ☀️ We had a couple of restaurants on the go, some balancing practise, running races and much more. A wee 🐞was spotted which provoked lots of questions which we used our Chromebooks to find answers to. #outdoorlearning

When your wee boy has to get glasses (along with hearing aids) for the first time and his Key Worker gets him this 📕 💕 thank you Miss Smith!! So kind and thoughtful!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my first 2 days @daviotprimary. Thank you for making me so welcome! Today we took our measurement lesson outside. The pupils enjoyed exploring and measuring different things in the fabulous outdoor area. 📏 🌳 🌺 ☀️

This term P4 Drakies Primary are learning instructional writing. In maths we are learning about measure. We put the two together and weighted and measured smoothie ingredients, wrote a recipe and followed it to make our own smoothies.. oh.. then we drank them! 😋 🍌 🍎 🍓

We kick off our 50th anniversary celebrations tomorrow (Monday) with Mr Graham piping our children through the front gate from 8.45am. Thank you to all the families, children, community members and staff who have shaped Drakies over the years!

Today marked the end of a week jammed packed with 50th birthday celebrations Drakies Primary. Yesterday we enjoyed lots of 50th themed challenges. Today we watched the burial of the new time capsule and finished the day with a party! 🍰🎈 🎵

Some happy but some very teary pupils in P4 today. Sad to say goodbye to my lovely P7’s and of course my wonderful 4’s who I will miss dearly. Thank you for the kind wishes and gifts. It has been touching and lovely to know that my hard work and dedication is appreciated. 💕
