If any districts decide to go virtual this year remember that it’s not same as in person. Students can’t be expected to sit online for 6 or 7 hours per day. Also parents may not be home like during quarantine so this may affect student interaction. Adjust expectations accordingly

Being positive doesn’t mean you ignore or lie to yourself about problems you face—it means you know you have the ability to overcome them! Keep the faith. #edchat

Since we are in uncharted waters, Admin, listen to teachers if they raise questions/concerns. Not ones who constantly complain but those who feel something truly needs addressed. Teachers are highly invested & desire the best for their students. Utilize their expertise/experience

MARCH: Teachers are going above and beyond. APRIL: Teachers are heroes and deserve our support. MAY: Teachers should be millionaires. JUNE: We need to cut school budgets. JULY: Teachers need to go back to school. AUGUST: Teachers are selfish and don’t care.
